Dow Corning is showcasing new products in the very near future. September 11-13th Dow will be at Labelexpo Americas 2012 with new release coatings and pressure-sensitive adhesives. Per marketing manager Chris Velasquez, some of these groundbreaking products are designed to help pressure-sensitive label and tape makers, “reduce waste and improve the sustainability of their products and processes.”  The Syl-Off® Advantage Series features silicone release coatings that can be used on diverse paper substrates. This series is designed to be cost-effective with flat release profiles and the possibility to reduce web breaks, which may occur during die cutting or label dispensing.  Syl-Off® emulsion coatings are thermal-cure silicon with low, stable release profiles. These coatings are light-weight and can help reduce dependence on solvents while enhancing the product manufactured. Dow Corning® 7651 Adhesive and Dow Corning® 7652 Adhesive are transparent with low adhesion and clean removal even under adverse conditions. These adhesives many aid in production of protective films for ubiquitous and popular electronic devices. Dow Corning can be found at Booth 3511 of Labelexpo Americas 2012.
