BASF has already developed several lamination solutions for digitally printed packaging both in the dry lamination and food packaging sectors. The company will now tailor-make an adhesive to specifically match the HP Indigo process. It says that its unique polymer design will help HP’s clients to achieve accelerated production and greater efficiency.

The new adhesives to be developed will be based on BASF’s experience with Epotal DP3820X and Basonat LR 9056 which produced high-quality lamination when used with HP Indigo’s Pack Ready coating.
