Dear Friends, I want to remove dry tack from my VAE (vinyl Acetate Ethylene) based adhesive coating. Which addiitive can help to remove / reduce dry tack. Please suggest.

    Depending upon your application , a wax dispersion or a polyvinyl alcohol cook can help. You'll have to check the impact upon your other properties

    Also, you may check for a higher Tg variation on the polymer or blend in a higher Tg polymer (PVAc).

    Thank you Mr. Dave. My application is to coat aluminium foil with VAE based adhesive for Water base Heat Seal Lacquer application in which i am facing problem of dry tack due to roll stick with coated surface and damage printed side of substrate. As suggested by you wax dispersion can help to remove dry tack, how much % need to be add into formulation ? if we blend it with higher Tg polymer then how much higher Tg we may require? Regards
